Dr. Prudence Schendel
Dr. Prudence Schendel is a 2007 graduate from Washington State University. She has extensive experience in general practice and emergency medicine and is most passionate about dentistry, feline medicine, and emergency medicine. She really enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and helping promote good quality of life for their pets. Outside of work, Dr. Schendel spends time with her husband and her daughter along with their 2 cats and dog.
Dr. Corey Michel
Dr. Michel was born and raised in a very small town in central Louisiana. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he received his BS in biology. Soon after, he attended veterinary school at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After finishing vet school, Dr. Michel had always wanted to move to the Pacific Northwest, and relocated at the end of 2019 to University Place. He brought with him his four cats (Morrow, Needles, Zora and Jett) and 2 ferrets, and his partner. His interests include video games, computers, any regarding technology, snowboarding, hiking, random facts of knowledge, jigsaw puzzles, and he can even crochet!
Dr. Nancy Robinson
Dr. Robinson is a western Washington native. After graduating with a doctorate from Washington State University in 2007, she returned to her hometown of Aberdeen to practice small animal medicine and surgery. Over the last several years Dr. Robinson has had a unique career working in private practices and teaching hospitals across the country. She completed a specialty internship in emergency and critical care at the University of Minnesota and is a certified RECOVER.org veterinary CPR instructor. She joins Union Avenue Hospital with a dedication to gold-standard care and an interest in the teaching and mentorship of new veterinarians and employees. When not at the clinic, Dr. Robinson enjoys time with her husband, two bossy terriers, a mixed breed hound, and an 18-yr-old cat.
